When work feels off

You can be capable, hardworking, and successful on paper, yet still carry a quiet sense that something is missing.

Perhaps you feel stuck, are questioning the path you’re on, or sense that your work could be a fuller expression of who you are - and a more meaningful use of what you have to offer.

If this resonates with you, you’ve come to the right place.

Who this is for

CallingCraft is built for people who want more than a faster job search. Most people who work with me recognize themselves in one of these.

Uncertain and looking for clarity

You’re uncertain about what kind of work truly suits you or which direction to take. You want to understand yourself better before deciding what comes next.

Looking for more than a job

You want work that reflects who you are at your best, draws on what you have to offer, and allows you to make a positive contribution.

Successful, yet quietly empty

You’ve built a career that looks successful from the outside, but something still feels missing. You want work that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and genuinely aligned with who you are.

If you mainly want a résumé rewrite or a faster job search, this is probably not the right fit. If you want to understand yourself more deeply and use that insight to decide what comes next, it is.

What creates deeply fulfilling work

Deeply fulfilling work tends to emerge when two things come together: the conditions that allow people to thrive, and work that genuinely fits who they are.

Most career advice concentrates on finding the right role. But even the right role can feel off when the conditions around it are missing. CallingCraft works on both.

The right conditions

A different kind of career guidance

The CallingCraft Method goes deeper than a personality test, a list of job ideas, or the simplistic advice to “follow your passion.” It combines meaningful self-understanding with a structured, research-informed process for making better decisions about work.

Depth

Form a deeper understanding of yourself before choosing a path.

Structure

Move through a clear process rather than following fragmented advice.

A method you keep

Leave with a way of thinking you can apply for the rest of your life.

Work through the Method, one-to-one

The CallingCraft Program is a series of eight online, one-to-one sessions that guide you through each phase of the Method. Together, we explore where you are now, deepen your self-understanding, consider possibilities that fit who you are, and shape a path forward you can act on.

Behind CallingCraft

CallingCraft began with a simple question: if work takes up so much of our lives, why are so few of us given a reliable way to make it genuinely fulfilling?

I’m Matt Hitchcock, the founder of CallingCraft. My background spans career development, digital health, project delivery, and community services. For many years, I’ve been deeply interested in how we can create a meaningful and fulfilling working life.
